La Casablanca comes from the Santander region north of Bogota and east of Medellin. Most Colombian coffees you may have noticed come from Huila/Cauca or Tolima which are both quite far south of Bogota. Santander is unique among Colombia’s coffee growing regions, with a varied topography of mountains, rivers, canyons, and valleys.
Casablanca is produced by Liliana Caballero Rojas and is a blend of Castillo and Gesha. It's a washed coffee with flavours of vanilla & lime with a bit of a floral note from the Gesha. This is a very unique tasting coffee.
Liliana’s vision as an administrative and financial professional is to add value to her coffee fields through planning, renovating older parcels, planting new varieties like Gesha, and improving processing and drying techniques. She is recently motivated by winning first place in the National Yara Champion Program in 2016.
