Producing a super-clean, natural-process coffee that meets specialty coffee standards is extremely difficult. This exceptional & rare coffee is selectively picked at peak ripeness, continually rotated on raised drying beds to ensure good air flow and prevent defects. The name Ardi comes from the discovery of a 4.4 million year old hominid fossil (Ardipithecus ramidus) discovered in this area of Ethiopia in 2009.
